For more than two years the American people, in a great majority, from left to right, have been in revolt against the political class and the financial elites in America. It is a revolt with historic parallels, most closely resembling the Jacksonian revolution of the 1820s. It is an uprising. It is a peaceful uprising of a people who see a country in decline and see nothing but failure in the performance of their leadership institutions. And they have signaled their intent to take back their country and to reclaim their sovereignty.

Unfortunately, the analysts, the pollsters and most importantly the commentariat of the political class have never understood, and in fact are psychologically incapable of understanding what is happening. And for the entire cycle of this presidential campaign they have failed to grasp what was happening before their eyes for it runs counter to everything they believe about themselves.

In truth, Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump, sucked from the same trough even if it was from opposite ends.
Yep and no matter if they manage to lie, cheat and steal Hillary into office, she will have zero ability to govern. The issues of the Sanders/Trump voters will continue to fester and boil while being exasperated by the corrupt lawlessness of the Clinton political machine. Tomorrow is not an end, tomorrow is a beginning. The choice is does the USA go the soft road or the hard road?
I HRC win means compulsory compliance with her program.
Exactly,
Bernie was the lefts Trump.... His solutions were not practical, but many of the problems he spoke about were real.
Hillary took the check and the dive, so he’s lost any credibility... Trump or nothing and my bet is on Trump taking it big.
We will have to wait. If we win convincingly I hope that you all encourage the lefties to carry out their suicidal tendencies. Rub their noses in it.
“...whatever the outcome, this revolt is not ending, it is merely beginning.”
That’s right! I’m voting for Trump tomorrow, and praying tonight that he wins. However, if HRC wins, I’m not giving up. It’s a revolution, and I’m part of it!
Probably the best political article I have ever read.
It will take years to overcome them, and it will take a persistent effort. But the hardest step is almost complete; taking the White House. Then the Congress needs to be overhauled, and to cycle out the Senate will be at least six years. Maybe twelve.
Very, very interesting article.
Really great article really captures the spirit I see. I hope I wake up wed morning with Mr. Trump as the President elect. I hope he lays waste to both parties.
Jerry Falwell, Jr.: “It’s become more than a movement, it’s become a peaceful revolution!”
R_I_V: “I agree!!” :^D
(Hi, ColdOne! :-) )
When you realize the Clintons and the Bushs have been the dominate factions in the Repubican and Democrat party since the late 980s, tomorrow has the potential to be a transformation election that finally sheds the US body politic of both of them.
I can’t figure FR out.
We seel hundreds of replies to total crap, hoaxes, kitty pics, etc. Yet here we have what I would call THE best analysis of this election cycle, and less than 10 comments.
Maybe we’re in worse shape than I thought.
One thing I’m sure of: every other Republican candidate would have been wiped out almost immediately by Hillary and the MSM. It would have been over before Labor day.
DJT is the only one who had a chance, because he’s the only one who can fight with anything even approaching the level of viciousness employed by the Democrats and the MSM.
Every one of the others would have been nothing but a speed bump.

((Hello!))
I know.
That's exactly how I'm looking at it, regardless of the day ends.
