ABC News/Washington COMPost: National race stands at 47-43 Clinton-Trump
The Washington Post ^ | 11/7/2016 | Scott Clement and Emily Guskin

Posted on 11/07/2016 5:19:39 AM PST by johncocktoasten

"...Clinton leads among voters who said they plan to vote early by 49 to 41 percent, a group that makes up 14 percent of likely voters. The 51 percent of likely voters who say they will vote on Election Day split 45 percent for Trump and 43 percent for Clinton.

But the poll also finds Trump’s support may be concentrated in places where it matters most. Trump receives 51 percent to 41 percent for Clinton in Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina and Ohio in 336 combined interviews in these states over the week ending Saturday. Clinton leads by 13 points in states that lean clearly Democratic this year (52 percent to 37 percent), while Trump has a seven-point edge in Republican-leaning states."

The ABC news poll is a new poll and it exists only to raise HRC in RCP.

I know. I’m just shocked they would admit that Trump has such a lead in the battleground states.

Hopefully this depresses some of her support tomorrow, as they think she’s already won it, so why bother getting up from the TV or off the stoop to vote.

This poll also skews d-6 or 7. If the electorate is d-5 or less, Trump wins nationally. Also, this poll shows undecideds at a significant level. If they are shy trumpers, we will pick them up as well.

Probably, but I also see unbelievable assessments in RCP that leave me completely baffled. For instance, they have Florida with a tossup where all the big media and left leaning polls average her out to +1 over Trump with only one poll in the average showing Trump leading.

In my state RCP has declared Georgia a “tossup” and if you look at all the polls averaged there his lead is +4.5 with all the averaged polls showing him leading - yet it’s a tossup? Clearly something is wrong here in how they judge they state colorings and chances and come up with their electoral vote counts.

I haven’t looked in the other states where this may be going on but I bet some other Freepers can find similar.

I read it three times, there is no caveat on that data point. It comes from all of their interviews in those states over the past week.

Always remember. ABC is wholly owned by Disney which sadly is controlled by the most vile Hollywood “progressives”. ABC is their main propaganda outlet. Any poll released by these horrible people is generously sprinkled with pixie dust.

Their sample voted 50-35 Obama-Romney in 2012.
