My computer doesn’t do too well with steam all around it, so I’ll move on.

People that make mistakes should be forgiven at some point. That point is when they have lived in society for a period of time and kept their nose clean. This shows they are under control enough to make better decisions than they were.

Frankly at least five years and preferably ten should be the minimum.

They must be off probation. They must not have any future brushes with the law.

Something like two strikes and you’d never be able to vote again.

We want decent law abiding citizens to vote. We do not want folks who have screwed up so bad they’ve gone to prison, particularly while they are in, or just out.
