Impeachment is a political device to remove a miscreant from office. There is no penalty for impeachment other than loss of office. In fact an impeached federal judge is now serving in the House of Representatives and not serving time in the Jail House.
In the present climate how many democrats in the senate do you think will vote for impeachment?
