"Earlier today, Steven Borowiec, a freelance journalist in South Korea, posted a tweet about Donald Trump on his personal Twitter profile that violated our professional standards," the paper said in a statement to the Washington Examiner.
"The Los Angeles Times is committed to fair, evenhanded coverage of the presidential campaign, and expects all journalists representing the paper, including non-staff contributors such as Mr. Borowiec, to adhere to this standard in their articles and social media posts," it said. "We regard Mr. Borowiec's comment as inexcusable, and we have ended our relationship with him."

Yup. They’re insane and violent people.
see post 21. Agreed wholeheartedly. They hate America, God and the flag. F these bastards.
“LA Times has professional standards? Bwahahahahaha..”
Needs repeating. Hehehehe
They know he’s winning too.
(But we will write a glowing letter of recommendation for him to his next employer.)
The Times overplays it’s hand when it tries to act as if it is even handed.
None the less it’s staff did fire the guy, but they had little choice.
The Left has tried for 17 months now, to talk about how Trump inspires people to do bad things.
Funny thing is, I only see folks on the Left given license to do those things.
Beating up older people at rallies
Torching Campaign offices
Trying to insite violence at Trump rallies
Torching a Black Church in the South
Doing damage to vehicles with Trump signs
Stealing Trump signs
Burning Trump signs
The Times and the Left need to own up to the license they have given to their people. This guy should have known this would never be tolerated. He’s on the Left though, and he thought it would be.
Well LA Times? Why is that?
LA Times is committed to fair, even handed coverage.
LOL! The turkey was a freelance (supposed) journalist and he stepped over even your line which is very difficult to do.
Who is that guy?
It’s scary that someone would think they were hip enuf to get away with saying something so outrageous.
The LAT was basically covering their assets. Someone from their legal office reached out to HRM and made it perfectly clear that retaining a liability looking for a place to happen was probably not in the best interest of the stakeholders and shareholders.
This is yet another failure on the colleges that are producing these dolts who call themselves journalists.
The justifiable shock value on the face of the offending (and recently unemployed) “journalist” would have been absolutely delicious to observe.
I guess MSNBC is the only outfit who will want him now.
Trump already draining the corrupt media swamp one scum sucker at a time lol
Future Blaze contributor.
Easy kill shot of a low-level contractor. No cred until the Andrea Mitchells of the media are purged.
Don’t let the door hit ya where the dog shoulda bit ya, subversive punk.
He’ll probably be an honored guest or maybe even get his own show on MSNBC or CNN, maybe even FOX.
Ed
If I was one of those tweeters I’d give that dirtbag a piece of my nind...
