I’m on one of Ted Cruz’s eMail lists.
After not receiving one from him for months, I got an eMail this very morning. Great, I’m thinking. He’s finally going to mention support for Trump. Well maybe he’ll surprise me and be contacting everyone to help out.
The eMail was in support of Rand Paul.

Doughty One, you’re proving my point. You are totally neglecting the fact that Cruz has been and will be an extremely effective conservative force in the Senate — an ally to conservative efforts by Trump. Like repealing Obamacare.
Who cares if he sent out a dispatch supporting Rand? What’s wrong with Paul? Are you looking at the big picture?
Aren’t you more interested in being right than promoting the welfare of this country?
Name five Senators who have done MORE for the conservative cause. Who have gone up against the ESTABLISHMENT. The only one I can think of who has done as much is Jeff Sessions.
