Looks like CMA is going the way of the EMMYs, Grammys, etc. Lots of adulation of multiculturalism in the video presentation in that one Eric Church performance.

Some good current country out there - The Mavericks, Dwight Yoakum, Jamey Johnson. Most of the rest is Disney level pop.

I realized she had no talent when I saw the cover of her first LP album. It was an overhead shot looking down with her face out of focus, but her cleavage and breasts in very sharp focus. They were NOT selling her music. They were selling her sexuality.
Modern Country Music is mostly pop/rock dime store cowboy crap sung with a fake ass twang by prius-driving metrosexuals. Give me the old country music any day of the week.
