Defense Secretary Ashton Carter spoke on “Force of the Future” military reforms this week that may involve relaxed recruiting rules on everything from single-parent enlistees to drug use and obesity.
A Tuesday event at City College of New York featured Mr. Carter speaking on the challenges of recruitment in a nation that is fatter, increasingly at ease with smoking marijuana, and producing more single-parent homes

If there was any doubt that what we have been seeing for the past eight years is not a concerted effort by the Left to demoralize and dematerialize the military, there cannot be any doubt.
The Department of Defense has done EVERYTHING possible to destroy the Greatest fighting force in the world at the behest of this administration.
I have debated endlessly that; once you allow every form of sexual deviant into the service, demand women lead in combat forces and lower physical fitness standards to meet the New Force, this is what you would expect.
Folks, when young, high school and college educated Men, from Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Weat Virginia, Ohio, ext, no longer view the Military as the same organization their Grandfather served, We Are In Trouble!
We are a nation of 340 million yet we can’t recruit for th smallest active force since before WWII?
The Military is a “Man’s World” because Men do the Fihghting! No social program or study will change those facts because our enemy gets a vote. Our enemy has no intention of reducing their combat lethality by placing women into combat forces. Only western nations are that stupid.
But we are not done with War Fighting! Daily we make the task of winning harder. This foolishness must stop or we risk diasterous consequences!

They can’t even recruit a police force for black cities, to many criminals in their population disqualify them. Now they are changing policy to eliminate lower felonies.
Thank your for your service Gunny. Hubby did his 20 in the Navy 60-80’s. His son chose the Marines but only did 1 hitch.

Seriously, my guess is it’s real, and she’s probably at an outprocessing appointment for her discharge for failure to meet standards. I’ve seen a couple that big in the AF, and that was the result.

If that fat cow is deployed anywhere near a combat zone abroad, the “RAPE ME” sign on her back will be ten times bigger than the one on the other white women in her unit because it will be obvious she can’t defend herself. Hell, just push her over and I doubt she’d be able to stand back up unassisted.
It’s no sodding wonder we’re not winning wars. They send tough young men with few if any ROE’s, we send second-string perverts and oversize Barbie dolls fighting with one hand tied behind their back. All the technology in the world ain’t gonna make up for that.
And a lot of the ones who would qualify are rightly scared spitless about having to shoot the next Treyvon and want to be nowhere near a uniform.
They don't get shipped off to fight. They get cushy "Temporary Assigned Duty" desk jobs where they work occasionally an eight hour day (minus the time off they need to come in late and leave early to take care of their kids) and never weekend duty because they've got nobody to watch the kids.
I'm an LPO in the Navy. I deal with this stuff every day.
LEO in Memphis are basically sitting ducks. But I noticed we are having more violent crime all across the state, even my little berg has had 3 homicides which is more than it has in a decade this last year. Home invasions. And we are outside the Memphis Shelby Co line.
Giuliani didn’t have his Broken Windows perfect, but it was more effective than what there is now. Judicial use of long terms and the Death Penalty in less than 5 yr and hang them in the public square like they did in the old West would deter a lot of it.
