I just described this article to my step-daughter who’s getting ready for work. She asked me, “So, what if Hillary gets elected and she makes the gun laws worse? Will she be able to take them away?”
I told her, “They won’t have to. All Hillary would have to do is make a few phone calls. One to the bank to tell them, ‘Freeze their accounts,’ and another to the schools to say, ‘Keep their kids.’ Hillary doesn’t have the manpower to send law enforcement or military to do it -we outnumber them over ten-to-one. PLUS, they wouldn’t follow those orders.”
Freeze their accounts might work but "keep their kids"?
People like money but touch their offspring and they go nuts.
That would start a civil war. And it would be a very short one.

That simple, huh? Based on a Form 4473 with someone’s name & soash on it? Really?
In such a scenario I suppose I might find myself forced to go ahead and turn all my guns in to the government.
And, of course I’d also have to turn in all of my ammunition - separately - and BEFORE I turn over the weapon itself...

I keep as close to a zero balance on the books as I can, as much of the time as I can. I think it’s a good idea, but it will become useless when cash is eliminated.
