His office functions as a liaison between the Justice Department and Congress, so his only job is to put his signature on letters just like the one you see there.

Today's WikiLeaks: Peter Kadzik at the DOJ makes it clear that he actively assisted Hillary Clinton to avoid disclosure of her illegal email activity.
It is essential for Mr. Smith to call for Mr. Kadzik's immediate resignation or, in the very least, to be disqualified from any involvement in the review of the emails recently found on Mr. Weiner's computer.
There is justified outrage among Americans that Mr. Kadzik has anything at all to do with this matter in light of his blatant conflict of interest, not to mention potentially criminal conduct relating to the Congressional investigation.
