Just heard Trey Gowdy yesterday give Kadzik a pass because he was only a ‘yes’ man.
Taxpayers not only have to put up with this collusion, but in effect have to pay Clinton’s legal bills as Kadzik represents them at taxpayer expense inside the DOJ. It’s like you are under investigation for a crime. It’s worse than the prosecutor feeding your team with inside data. The prosecutor IS your team; you get the scoop on your case and you get it with no legal fees.
That's not really what he said. He pointed out that Kadzik's office serves little more than a ceremonial function in the Justice Department. It's an important role because there are serious legal issues whenever the Department communicates with Congress about ongoing investigations, but it has nothing to do with any oversight of these investigations.
That's what I got out of Trey Gowdy's comments yesterday.
