In the video I linked; it appears he took a Confederate flag to a HS football game at Urbandale to make a disturbance, He was kicked out of the game as a result.
This was two weeks ago.
He sounds mentally disturbed in the video.

Well, to be fair, it is good to know that it is a serious rifle rather than a pistol or some kind of rimfire.

Scanner reports he may be in custody within the last hour. Vehucle ID and license plate, as well as suspect ID. Textbook work.

I wonder why no one has asked them why they simply don’t defund their own city police forces if they don’t like police in their towns. They ought to be circulating initiatives to that effect & getting a vote on the matter.

They caught him close to me; waiting for a news conference at the top of the hour.
Cops are human and not all perfect. But they have a thankless job much of the time and they do an incredibly dangerous and valuable job.
Hearing someone (here) bash them just pisses me off.
According to reports, that video you posted is from the incident where the shooter suspect about 2 weeks earlier was physically attacked by blacks and had his property stolen at a football game. The cops showed up, and threw him out of the football game. On top of that, the cops would no allow him to be escorted by them back into the stands to identify those who assaulted and stole his property and wasn’t even allowed to speak to witnesses present. In the video, the victim seemed very polite to the officers as well as being polite when referring to blacks.
He wasn’t assaulted by blacks.
He went into the stadium with a confederate flag and was waiving in front of some the crowd who were black.
Other people in the crowd that or hate m he was being obnoxious and asked him that leave.
The police came and also asked him to leave which is in the video.
The guy was in court just yesterday on a unrelated matter involving a disagreement with his mother.
He has a long history as a trouble maker; there is nothing about that this guy worth defending
That's not what happened according to your own video you provided.
According to the victim from your video, he was struck in the head and he claimed it was from a group of black folk who also stole his property. Again, this is according to the victim who calmly reported what occurred to the cops. This is strictly based on the video you provided above.
In fact, according to the video, he was not only assaulted, he had his property taken from his person. No? All this occurred first, and only THEN was the victim of the assault asked to leave, after he was assaulted and had items stolen from him.
All this is according to the video you provided.
The guy is a pyscho who murdered 2 police officers.
There many people at the game who have spoken out about that incident.
Had I been in the crowd at that HS game, I would have told him to quit harassing people as well.
If you are that interested in him, put his name in Google and read up on his past history
You ignored and are incorrect about what occurred just days prior to the shooting. He was the victim of assault and theft in that incident. And you're the one who provided the video link.
