he FBI accelerated its timeline for reviewing emails potentially linked to Hillary Clinton on Monday amid growing public pressure over the agency’s surprise announcement that it had found them in an unrelated case.
Investigators had planned to conduct the review over several weeks but, after a torrent of criticism over the weekend, began scrambling to examine the trove of emails, according to law enforcement officials. The FBI hoped to complete a preliminary assessment in the coming days, but agency officials have not decided how, or whether, they will disclose the results of it publicly, and officials also could not say whether the entire review would be completed by election day.

We should thank the DOJ. For not letting the FBI get a grand jury, for reporting this so late that a full review and indictment couldn’t happen.
An indictment or jailing of Hillary would have been the VERY WORST thing that could have happened to us.

Add the recent twitter deletions by so many Dems and even Liz Warren stopping following Hillary on Twitter and it gets even more interesting - gonna have to break out the pizza-flavored popcorn....
Let me see if I understand this correctly. It took 2 years to find and dig through 30K e-mails where nothing worth prosecuting was found. But now, they are going to go through 650K e-mails in a few days to find nothing worth prosecuting
If so, my advice to Comey is to stay clear of Ft Marcy Park.
Prediction: The FBI will NOT announce anything found in the e-mails, BUT they will recommend convening separate grand juries for Huma and Hillary before November 8. The ball will be in DOJ’s court.
This could break either way. If I were Comey, I either would keep my mouth shut or simply come out with a statement that “the FBI review is continuing”. If something big breaks either way, we will know by Friday evening.
Tricks up their sleeves, maybe. But I don’t think I’ve ever seen such shock and awe in a campaign and administration, even looking back to Watergate. I’m thinking they may be too off-balance to respond with anything believable.

I think by then the info will already be in the hands of the party decision makers. I bet my last dollar they are trying to figure a way to get her off the ticket and run someone untainted, as of yet, just to save face and try to steal the election as I think they know it is lost. The indiana up 11 and Missouri up 13 today are death knells taking in context with the lack of black turnout.
FBI only has to find ONE credible piece of unequivocal evidence to be able to recommend for a grand jury. The grand jury convenes and the investigation continues.

What do you think Exhibit A is—clear evidence of intent to destroy evidence, obstruction of justice, clear evidence regarding gross mishandling of classified documents, etc.?

There is absolutely no way you can examine and cross reference 650,000 emails before next Tuesday. I don’t care how many humans or computers you put on the case.
There is too much data that must be meticulously verified to offer anything conclusive in such a short time frame.
I’m sure you’re right, but I’m thinking beyond winning or losing an election. I’m thinking of justice served after 25 years of the Clinton’s making our country look like a professional wrestling match, with the Republican Party being the doofus referee.
Maybe if these jack wagons did their job to begin with, they wouldn’t be in this situation.
James COmey just needs to come out and say the following:
I would love to tell you about some of the content in the emails we found on the Weiners Laptop, but it would be a FELONY TO RELEASE IT OR LET ANYONE WITHOUT THE HIGHEST SECURITY CLEARANCE READ IT.
