The young son of a former colleague was afflicted by this terrible disease. Had to be treated with respirator for almost two weeks. However, the doctors gave him an experimental drug that had shown some promise: fluoxetine - that is the active ingredient of Prozac!

Yes, Fluoxetine is the generic version of Prozac (I've taken it before). I've seen TV ads for medications that are used for more than one ailment (Humira comes to mind). Strange that an SSRI like Prozac would have another use other than depression/anxiety.

I was prescribed a drug to prevent the recurrence of skin cancer. A homo informed me later that the same drug is given to homos to treat fag-induced anal warts, so now I am embarrassed when I go to the pharmacy.
