I'd be interested upon what basis you respect them now. I hope it's not their theology!
No, he'll move back to a leftie station and be the prophet for the Trump-haters.
I’d be interested upon what basis you respect them now. I hope it’s not their theology!
It’s certainly not based on theology. It’s based on a few individuals I’ve known for many years.
Mitt, Glenn Beck, and Harry Reid are bad publicity for Mormons. Makes them look whacked out.
Ha ha I know it is hard to believe!! But both he and Paul Ryan definitely felt the need to SAY they voted Trump!!!!
MORE whacked out.
THIS is what makes them look whacked out...
In conclusion let us summarize this grand key, these Fourteen Fundamentals in Following the Prophet, for our salvation depends on them.
1. The prophet is the only man who speaks for the Lord in everything.
2. The living prophet is more vital to us than the standard works.
3. The living prophet is more important to us than a dead prophet.
4. The prophet will never lead the church astray.
5. The prophet is not required to have any particular earthly training or credentials to speak on any subject or act on any matter at any time.
6. The prophet does not have to say Thus Saith the Lord, to give us scripture.
7. The prophet tells us what we need to know, not always what we want to know.
8. The prophet is not limited by mens reasoning.
9. The prophet can receive revelation on any matter, temporal or spiritual.
10. The prophet may advise on civic matters.
11. The two groups who have the greatest difficulty in following the prophet are the proud who are learned and the proud who are rich.
12. The prophet will not necessarily be popular with the world or the worldly.
13. The prophet and his counselors make up the First Presidencythe highest quorum in the Church.
14. The prophet and the presidencythe living prophet and the First Presidencyfollow them and be blessedreject them and suffer.
I testify that these fourteen fundamentals in following the living prophet are true. If we want to know how well we stand with the Lord then let us ask ourselves how well we stand with His mortal captainhow close do our lives harmonize with the Lords anointedthe living ProphetPresident of the Church, and with the Quorum of the First Presidency.

Glenn Beck: Obama Made Me a Better Man
by Breitbart News
7 Nov 2016
Nicholas Schmidle writes in The New Yorker that TheBlaze founder Glenn Beck has rethought some things after listening to a recent speech by Michelle Obama that Beck praised as the most effective political speech I have heard since Ronald Reagan. Beck, who Schmidle describes as a Black Lives Matter supporter, now even praises the president he once harshly criticized, declaring that Barack Obama made him a better man.
From The New Yorker:
One recent morning, after the release of Donald Trumps Tic Tac tape and his subsequent mansplanation about locker-room talk, Glenn Beck clicked on a video of Michelle Obama campaigning for Hillary Clinton in a New Hampshire gymnasium. The First Lady ripped into Trumps comments, calling them disgraceful and intolerable, and adding, It doesnt matter what party you belong toDemocrat, Republican, Independentno woman deserves to be treated this way. Beck was mesmerized. On his radio program that day, he heralded Obamas remarks as the most effective political speech I have heard since Ronald Reagan.
Those words hit me where I live, Beck said the other day. He was speedwalking up Eighth Avenue with his wife, son, and daughter, all in from Toronto. If youre a decent human being, those words were dead on.
Decency is a fresh palette for Beck, who, at Fox, used to scribble on a chalkboard while launching into conspiratorial rants about looming Weimar-esque hyperinflation, Barack Obamas ties to radicals with population-cleansing schemes, and a Marxist-Islamist cabal itching to take over America. He once described Clinton as a stereotypical bitch and accused Obama of being a racist with a deep-seated hatred for white people.
That was the old Beck, he insists: I did a lot of freaking out about Barack Obama. But, he said, Obama made me a better man. He regrets calling the President a racist and counts himself a Black Lives Matter supporter. There are things unique to the African-American experience that I cannot relate to, he said. I had to listen to them.

It figures. And as usual, the headline is only correct, if that.
By strecthing one’s imagination past the breaking point, one could concede that Beck is a talk radio icon. However, one could never reach the conclusion that Beck is a Conservative.
A CRAPPY, SOUL-SUCKING BUSINESS
According to The Daily Beast, his media empire is in upheaval. His flagship site, The Blaze, recently cut its workforce in half. Weve got to course-change, and if we dont, were either going to go out of business or were going to be a crappy, soul-sucking business, he allegedly told Blaze staffers at a contentious meeting.
