For the past quarter century the Clintons have been in the national spotlight. There were still a few sane Democrats back in 1991 when Bubba announced his run for the presidency that were warning their party the Clintons were trouble, but the Dems ignored the warnings and put them in office. Scandal after scandal, and they all circled the wagons around Bill and Hillary to put out the fuse. Now the Clintons ethical problems have come full circle, and now the party is gonna reap what they sowed. Think now they’re finally having regrets. When this is all said and done they will find that Hillary and Bill sold this nation out and committed acts of treason through their foundation that make Benedict Arnold’s, the Rosenbergs’ and Aldrich Ames’s breaches of our national security look very tame in comparison.

Clinton ran in 1992 because Mario Cuomo wouldn’t. Neither would any other rat. Bush had about 90 pct approval because of the gulf war.

Clinton stepped up to the plate because nobody else wanted to. Perot joined him. The rest is history.

“There were still a few sane Democrats back in 1991”

My dad, a world war two vet, and everybody he knew were Democrats in the ‘60’s. They were for low taxes, less government and all the things a moderate Republican would want now. They didn’t move to the right. The Democratic party moved from middle of the road to just left of the socialist party. He died a Republican. (Since then, though, I suspect he has consistently voted the Democratic ticket.)
