How about if we meet across the street at P.J.Clarke's five or ten minutes after the final curtain. I'll be the only one wearing a faded orange UVa rain hat! Other Freepers who don't care about the opera should feel free to show up too. (Opera will end at about 4:45PM, Nov 12. Clarke's is on the corner of 63rd and Columbus.)

Sounds good to me. It may be a little while before I get there because I want to be around for all the curtain calls as this will be Fabio Luisi’s final appearance at the Met for quite a while. He may get a long ovation.
