It was a rainy, stay inside day here.

I found a new over-the-air channel called COMET, kind of like the Sci-Fi channel. It's showing old B&W 1950's sci-fi movies, hilarious to watch, the "special effects" are real lame, still fun to watch though.

Also been watching College football games and FReeping.

A rainy day? Lucky you! Wish we could say the same. We'd sure appreciate it if you'd huff and puff and blow some of that rain this-a-way. LOL!

COMET sounds like a cool channel. LOVE the old B&W sci-fi movies. They're a hoot to watch. TCM showed a couple this afternoon from the '50s and I laughed at the hokiness(is that a word? lol). Tonight they have horror movies from the '60s.

Not an exciting day but a good one. Ran into town to run a couple of errands and spent some time sitting outside with our newest addition to the "herd". He's been around for a while but had gone wild after being dumped off. I finally managed to pet him the other night and that was all it took. He can't get enough lovin' now.

I won’t argue he’s a cutie but I could be a wee bit biased. LOL!
And he’s a real sweetie.

Yes, the FLV/FIV test is the first order of business and if he has neither disease, he’ll get his shots. Then we’ll schedule surgery to have him “nipped in the buds”. I hope to have him calm enough to take him next week. He’s still a little nervous after being on his own for a while and not trusting anyone.

His arrival brings our herd numbers to 36.
