Folks, if you feel the urge to post a vanity, think again.
There are many quality threads that start with a lamestream media article. Add your vanity/question/comment to to an appropriate article as a response, instead of starting a new thread.
No, if we can just reign in the blog-pimping -- it would be like the glory days of Free Republic.
If you feel the need to post a blog entry -- first consider: did the author reference a lamestream media article?
If they did -- then search for that article. If it's not posted, then post that article. If you feel a need to share the blog commentary, add it as a response.
We don't need a dozen blog-pimp postings that reference the same lamestream media article. One will do.
