Subpoenas are issued by a grand jury. There was no grand jury. Whatever the legal terminology, it wasn’t a criminal investigation, it was a preliminary inquiry or some such.

I'm betting the warrant for Tony with the tricky d*** covered ALL electronic devices.
But I'm betting the clue came about from them searching that girl's computer (with permission on the advice of her attorney) and finding and tracking down the computer that they seized.
