FBI Director James Comey told his bureau he broke with custom in alerting lawmakers that the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server was being reopened because of its political sensitivity.
In an internal memo obtained by Fox News, the beleaguered director noted that the FBI typically would not communicate with the public when reopening a case, according to a Department of Justice source. But Comey said he had to in this case because Clinton is seeking the White House in an election on Nov. 8.
“Of course we don’t ordinarily tell Congress about ongoing investigations, but here I feel an obligation to do so given that I testified repeatedly in recent months that our investigation was completed,” Comey wrote. I also think it would be misleading to the American people were we not to supplement the record.
“At the same time, however, given that we do not know the significance of this newly discovered collection of emails, I don’t want to create a misleading impression,” Comey’s letter continued....

If this was a NYPD SVU case, they most likely either got a warrant for all the electronic computers, phones, etc, or he turned them over voluntarily. The only thing he could leverage is direct testimony of 1st hand knowledge of wrong doing supported or corroborated by documents/recording, or Huma, or someone as yet unknown. If he’s smart, and there no evidence that he is, he saved or recorded a get out of jail free card fir his protection.

Comey knows that Trump is going to win and is in ass covering mode. He knows how dirty he and his merry band are and that they could go to jail.

I agree—can’t trust this guy. I hope Trump starts saying “we’ll see” instead of expressing faith that the FBI is going to make things right.
Wiener is hanging out there all by himself now. He’s separated from Huma and hasn’t got a friend in the world. I’ll bet he’s thinking seriously about cutting an immunity deal with Congress to give testimony. Otherwise his goose is cooked, and he may end up in the park where Vince Foster was found.
You bet they know the significance. If it was a bunch of emails about yoga they would keep their traps shut. No need to say anything. The fact is it was going to be made public and they have to cover their butts in the fbi when it does.
Assange pushed him to it. Assange is releasing something tomorrow that would put comey in deep crap if he did not do what he did today. He is trying to save his own skin.

Even if Trump is elected. He can’t afford to tear the country apart in prosecuting dopey. He knows better. I think it would be necessary to let him go. He would also privately or my other means quietly tell dopye to STFU of he will go to jail. He would have to prosecute and jail the rest of the cabal. Not Trump personally but the new justice department.
The klingoons are crooks and need to go to jail. A deep, dark, damp, rat infested jail but that will never happen.

Disagree, at first I thought Obama might be behind a lot of this, but there is chance he could be implicated. He did email Hillary to the unsecured server.
Me thinks Comey sees the writing on the wall with Trump and chose the lesser of two evils, that is reduce his jail time with Trump and fore go his loyalty to Obama.

OR the other possibility is that whatever is in the documents is SO bad that other agents were threatening to blow this open. And I'm talking Julius and Ethel Rosenberg bad.

I say you know nothing about The Donald. Whatever he does won’t be blatantly in your face, but Dopey is already on record he is going to be out there to put his crap on steroids to keep his little America destroying game alive. Actually, even into hyperdrive because there will be no accountability and he will have the full support of the media in his subversive campaign.
Of all the actors, Obama must be the one to be sweeping the floors of Alcatraz with a tooth brush but we know he will find instant refuge in some UN non-extraditing country from which to spew his poison. As for his benefactor, Jorge Schwartz (Soros), there is no fate too despicably suited for his ultimate demise, and his demented kids too. I see Trump making it possible for outside actors in countries where he is wanted to finally gain access to him and his empire. Soro’s empire is his only power and in such, the only way to take him down.
I’m sure his disdain for the western world is that they defeated the Nazi empire of which he sold his Jewish soul to so many years ago. I have no idea how he has escaped the Mossad up to now, but Eichmann ghost will be visiting him soon.
