There is no question that re-opening the FBI Investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email server is a big deal. The FBI normally avoids acting just before an election in order to avoid charges of political manipulation. NBC reports:
The FBI is reviewing a new batch of Hillary Clinton emails, bureau director James Comey said in a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee on Friday.
"In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation … I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation," he wrote.
The very first thing to note is that Comey made no mention of a grand jury. The emails whose existence he learned of may have been the result of a subpoena in another investigation. If that is the case, further subpoenas are quite possible, a tool that was left unused in the investigation to date.
There are 3 competing theories as to why he might be doing this now that come to mind.

I see any scandal of hers during his admin is his scandal.
Could it be that these FBI agents, who spent years investigating her, and know she is criminal, fear that she will win, and then she will come after them. So they want to put a spoke in her wheel, so that she can’t win and come after them.
That is the most reasonable explanation.
But.
What if it’s a deliberate FBI publicity stunt to help Hillary?

That was my immediate thought:
They can then attribute the vast disparity to this belated revelation.
I certainly think this is an element; Obama inserts himself into all scenarios - as a narcissist and as a dictator.
I also think that the corruption is so massive and multifarious at this point that there are multiple players at work in every crisis, not necessarily working together.

Lot of truth on this. This letter could have easily have been buried by the MSM. Easily. Yet it made front page virtually in seconds. The orders to report this were given and the press dutifully complied.

None of the Wikileaks emails to date have a From Hillary address
One can extrapolate that the next dump from Wikileaks will be Emails From her Highness and it is quickly followed by What Kim.com has which he claims is Hillary’s Entire Server before it was wiped ... (what Congress wanted to begin with)
It is no wonder that Washington is a BUZZZZ BUZZZZ
