Maybe they are starting to get an idea of just how much they are disliked. And yes it gonna get worse
I really don’t think that they care what you and I think. I believe every damned on of them is thinking “network” or “primetime” or “anchor” ad nauseam.
So they rely on the traditional means to gauge that share by ratings, air play, print play, talk-up topics and the like. Many don’t even care if any of it is “bad” to the public - as long as it fits the collective media establishment’s mantra.
The goal is to get one of those multi-year, multi-million insurance policy jobs that settles up the long term in their feathered beds.
