President Obamas high-security BlackBerry used a special process known as whitelisting that only allowed it to take calls and messages from pre-approved contacts, two former senior intelligence officials with knowledge of the set-up told Fox News pointing to the detail as further proof the White House knew Hillary Clintons private account was used for government business.
As the administration now acknowledges, Obama and Clinton emailed each other while she was helming the State Department. If received on his BlackBerry, the whitelisting safeguard means Clinton and other contacts would have had to be approved as secure for data transmission covering everything from emails to texts to phone calls. The Obama BlackBerry would have also been configured to accept the communications.
Think of whitelisting like a bouncer in the VIP line at the party. If you are on the list you get in, if you are not, you get bounced to the pavement, said Bob Gourley, former chief technology officer (CTO) for the DIA, and now a partner with strategic consulting and engineering firm Cognitio.

Truth
I can’t nelieve thgere was no indication that the account was NOT on the government net.
If FOX wants to get any kind of respect back, they need to replace Meghan Kelly with Catherine Herridge....
Someone may write a book about it
Whitelisting basically involves someone specifying acceptable addresses, like so:
VicePresident@governmentcomputer
SecDefense@governmentcomputer
SenateLeader@governmentcomputer
Hillary@nogovernmentcomputerknowntomanjustaprivateserverinabathroom
HouseLeader@governmentcomputer
SecTreasury@governmentcomputer
All accounts on the government net have the suffix .gov.
Clinton’s had a .com suffix, so it was obvious it was not a secure government email account.
If it can be proven that Obama had Clinton’s .com email address whitelisted on his Blackberry prior to March 2015, then he is proven to be a liar.
In other words everything is always assumed untrusted unless it been set to be explicitly trusted

Love it! Obama’s a liar, but we all knew that.
It’s easy for the average voter to understand this. Everybody, even the LIV, has a smartphone with an address book and you can block all calls except those in your address book. That is the same as whitelisting.

I think that whole "0bama is a liar" thing was proven long ago...
The Revolution is ON!
Vote Trump!
Right!
And her address would have to be deliberately hidden, if it was.
Megyn needs to be fired and replaced with Judge Jeanine Pirro. She’s the best. Their ratings would skyrocket
Whoever approved her email for the BlackBerry had to know that she was using a non-secure server and should have looked into the matter.
Then again, there never seems to be any serious investigations of the Clinton Crime Syndicate.
That works too....
It’s not known if Clinton’s private email was whitelisted or not. This is the last paragraph of the article I linked to:
“Asked if the Presidents BlackBerry was configured to accept the clintonemail.com address, a spokesperson for the Secret Service referred questions to the White House Communications Agency and the White House Military Office. Fox News is attempting to follow up with both.”
They must think we’re stupid and not know how this email thing all works. If it’s read in a lead sealed room 50 ft underground or a whitelisting capable blackberry - SO WHAT — the server is still in a bathroom in some office bldg in Kansas.
Isn’t it also odd that the POTUS and his staff did not question why clearly sensitive information coming from Hillary was not only from a .com domain but also did not have any classified markings?
