I'm too young for that, but I'm fascinated by the whole story -- as an American and a hockey fanatic.

If you haven't already read it, I'd strongly recommend Wayne Coffey's book about the "Miracle on Ice," titled The Boys of Winter. It was published in 2005 to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the 1980 Winter Olympics, and it is a superb narrative of the win over the Soviets along with biographical sketches of all the U.S. players and coaches.
