America is a two-party system and after party conventions select the nominees, we have two choices and only two choices. Both nominees have demonstrated serious character flaws. The current spotlight is on lewd, vulgar comments from Donald Trump that cannot be defended. Nevertheless, his words could never be used to justify a vote for Hillary Clinton and her leftist agenda.
Those morally pure conservatives who believe they cannot in good conscience vote for Mr. Trump but dont like Mrs. Clinton need to define what outcome they are seeking by voting third party or not at all. With America at a true tipping point, the reality is that only Donald Trump can block the election of another far-left progressive ideologue.
Hillary Clinton will trample on individual liberties and religious freedom. If she is elected, the America of our Founders is over and the U.S. Constitution is toast.
Hillary has demonstrated that she rejects the founding principles that made America the most respected, prosperous and free country in history. It was individual freedom and responsibility, Judeo-Christian morality, limitations on the power of government, and reserving most of that power to the states that made America exceptional. Mrs. Clintons allies on the left have been systematically growing government power and undoing those founding principles....

What about the allegations by the women who accused him of groping them?
But I'm getting tired of media comments from "our side" like this:
The current spotlight is on lewd, vulgar comments from Donald Trump that cannot be defended.
It's too apologetic and defeatist.
I'm a Christian woman so I do expect and occasionally insist that a man use clean language around me. But any non-hermit in the US of A knows that most (not all) men have made some kind of male banter like Donald Trump made to little Billy Bush. Maybe the guy might have just done it in high school or college but only an igit thinks it's unusual. Donald Trump had nothing to apologize for in my book. Men are men. Occasionally crude. Even the best of men. And yes, I do know not all y'all have made crude comments. The thing just irks me.
I apologize for hijacking the thread off topic with my soapbox. I just needed to vent that. Wish I could say it to igit faces.
For the first time since my daughter graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder (where she got her degree in liberalism)over 20 years ago, she will be voting for a Republican...Trump. As she says, the lesser of 2 evils...OH REALLY????????? I paid for a $100.000 education and had to wait 20 years for the propaganda to wear off.....WOW!!!!!!!!!

There is no reason to apologize. I also find it very irksome that so many in the conservative media have to throw in a bash at the Republican. The other thing that irks me is when Democrats have been caught red-handed at something (for instance, taking bribes for political favors), and the supposedly conservative media claims that "both sides do it" before rightly criticizing the Democrat. Really? Do these media outlets think it makes them look more fair by pushing the "both sides" meme?
So what if Trump spoke crudely?
He is a businessman, and can be expected to do what is best for the economy. Businesses do not spend frivolously, and keep close track of their assets—the economy needs that business perspective.
Not only that, but Trump understands from having had to navigate it while earning his fortune the destructive nature of tangled messes of contradictory regulations. Bringing that kind of understanding to Washington is essential, since the lawyers who typically go to Washington are not about to tackle that mess. For them, it represents an opportunity to profit, because tangled messes of laws and regulations are their bread and butter.
Also, from his business experience, Trump knows how to lead people. As commander-in-chief, he is going to be leading hundreds of thousands of service members. He has already shown that he is a good leader with his construction employees; I expect him to be a good leader of troops, as well.
To contrast, Hillary has never worked a real job in her life. She became rich through bribery, and thinks that that is how all rich people get rich, so the chance that she will actually implement policies to help the economy is just about nil.
She will do nothing to reduce the mountains of regulations that are stifling the economy. She’s a lawyer—she won’t do anything that might decrease work for lawyers.
She also has no leadership experience, and her actual experience shows that she will be a disaster as commander in chief. She doesn’t care about the troops, so she will happily misuse them for her own political whims. And, as we already saw with Benghazi and the current turmoil in the Middle East, acting on her political whims is absolutely disastrous. The president has more power than the secretary of state—what will she do to introduce more unnecessary strife into the world as president? She’s even been telegraphing that she is considering using nuclear bombs—it is folly to even consider putting her in a position where she has that opportunity.
Not just the safe choice, but also the sane choice..
“Men are men. Occasionally crude. Even the best of men.”
True that is, even I was once a sailor and on numerous occasions sounded like a sailor. On the other hand, those of us who live in the real world know that many a woman does her best to outdo her brothers in that area. Some of the foulest language I have ever heard has come from the mouths of women.
It wasn't supposed to be this way.
Yes sir, that is a true statement. I will not deny that I have said some shameful things and used nasty language either. When we were younger my girlfriends and I didn't shy away from quite colorful descriptions of many things about men either.
As life has flown by its happened that I've become quite good friends with a gal who was one of my daughter's best friends in grade school. This little gal had remained local while our kids have all moved to Timbuktu. This little girl turned 40 this year and finally got out of a 19 yr abusive marriage last year. She had only dated the one guy she married so never did have the dating experience most girls have in high school. She is a very pretty woman, has kept fit and now that she's 40 and single with her only child out of high school she regales me with dating antics at least 2 or 3 times per month. It's between us girls but the talk IMO is about equivalent to that ridiculous Trump recording. Sadly, Donald Trump got recorded. He wasn't running for Pres then. My friend would not want her employers or clients to hear our private conversations either but talking smack is how we relate to one another at times.
I think we need some private recordings of each of the left wing rats and media during their crude tirades. I'm just a crochety old lady and tired of hearing this ridiculous topic. There are very few of us who have gone thru life with pure language. I admire anyone who has, but would tend to doubt it if anyone bragged of it.
Such a non-issue and here I rant again.
Yes ma'am, you are spot on there. Seems the media has to grant the rats leave for every sort of bad behavior. I stopped with TV news long ago because I just get furious with the so-called conservatives apology laden editorials. IMO we, as conservatives, are the faction of America who embraces men being men, women being women and welcoming achievents from both men and women in an equal manner. Hence, the men in media, who claim conservative values, need to man up and quit making those excuses as you addressed.
Lol, I'm on a roll now. I've got too much rant to spill and honestly think this thing I'm wanting to complain about should not matter.
