A new Gazette poll shows Donald Trump dominating Hillary Clinton among El Paso County voters even as other recent surveys have the blunt-talking billionaire trailing the former first lady among voters statewide.
Despite a campaign that has courted controversy almost from the start and weathered a rash of allegations about Trump's behavior toward women, the survey finds the Republican New York real estate mogul leading Democrat Clinton 50 percent to 32 percent in El Paso County in a two-way race. Trump bests Clinton 47 percent to 30 percent when Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson and Green Party contender Jill Stein, among others, are included in the mix.

El Paso is a GOP stronghold here in CO.
Trump will win big there.
My cousin liv s up in Evergreen, Co and he seemed to e rather optimistic that a Trump would indeed take Co.
Trump needs to win bellwether Jefferson.
State is in reach.
He needs to turn out his base here.
Can you even imagine a voter for Trump staying home? This is the most important election in 220 years. Either this country survives or it is GONE.
Here in rural Chaffee County, I haven’t seen a single Hillary bumper sticker or yard sign.
Oddly enough, there’s still a Bernie 2016 poster on one of the main buildings on Salida’s main drag.
Left Colorado Springs in 2000... the libs from California have over run the state
If he wins there he will probably win the election
I think they Bradely effect may be real high
Hopefully there will be depressed turnout in Boulder where all the pot smokers and CU deadbeats stay home and cry about Bernie. Of interesting note is your 3 ballot initiatives that Elway is spearheading opposition of. Womder if that may have a small upside for Trump?
I think D +6 is too high.
Its not like 2012 but don’t look for the media to admit it.
Liberal initiatives appear to be trailing.
I think the marijuana vote really boosted Obama’s numbers in 2012. Hillary really needs something like that to drag the college kids out of their weed parties. But it really doesn’t exist this year.
Trump is doing well in the mountain towns. I think Trump should campaign in Boulder. Boulder went big for Bernie, and it is possible for him to make a case for himself to Bernie voters to vote for him over Hillary. Bernie voters are at least anti-global trade pacts that steal citizen’s liberty. He can tell them that despite their differences, at least he is American first, and will leave the office with the citizens able to determine their own future. Hillary can’t promise that.
Glenn? Forget it Jack.
