Figured out a way to get Soros out of the mix?
Thank you.
Well, their motto really is: "Vote early and often". I've heard them say it.
It's not a funny joke.
Why are these machines not tested and certified by bi partisans every 1 hour?
I moved from California to Texas in 2014 and I never saw it on my Cali ballot either.
“Are you saying Amarillo (population 200,000) is a hick town?”
Im sayin’ it. And it has nothing to do with numbers of people.
As for being cultured, Amarillo isn’t. I suppose it is a hick town, lord knows I was happy enough to get out of it.
But if I had to choose between a hick town and an ethnic shit hole, I’ll take the hick.
If possible, do as I always do .... vote early and request a “paper ballot” .... yep, it you vote early here you can request a paper ballot ... only during early voting.

That voting machine should never be used again.
ok, my first response to you about Soros was a little smart-alecky but true. However, I want to interject some truth from polling work.
My first experiences working in a polling place were as a poll watcher for candidates. Every candidate is allowed 2 poll watchers per precinct. It is a volunteer job. Something you do for a 13-15 hr day without pay because you don't want your candidate cheated. When I began there were no machines involved in voting. It was paper ballots counted by people. Some of those people still wanted to use any excuse they could find to champion their candidate. As a poll watcher all you can do is write up a challenge for each questionable thing. The votes still get counted the way the election judge and his team call them.
But as a poll watcher, your challenges go with the ballots and all official records to the county election judge. Your candidate may, after the election is finally called, then challenge the vote. In that case a recount would then be done and the candidate may ask a representative from the Secretary of State of Texas to preside over the recount. When the votes are recounted the state election official makes the call on questionable ballots.
My issue with machine cast ballots results from this poll watcher and recount personal experience. If I have HAND MARKED the ballot for the candidate of my choice, I know that it says who I want. Machines can mark different than I want, just as this post brings forth. If for some reason a recount is called, I still know my hand marked ballot will be seen by the Secretary of State observer.
But, my point here addressing your quoted comment is this: No matter whether we vote by paper, machine or drawing straws, unless we have poll watchers for our candidates at every polling place, there can be fraud.
Did they get hit by lightning and win the Powerball too?
About ten Cadillacs augered into the ground near there....

My current hometown uses paper ballots that we mark with black pencil or black ink, then each voter walks up to the tallying machine and places his or her own ballot into it and the machine reads the ballot and tallies the vote. We are signed in before given a ballot and signed out just before we place our ballot on the tallying machine.
Oh, and I do not vote early or by mail because my personal preference is to have a poll watcher in the polling place when I vote.
Isn’t that SPECIAL?
That law has been questioned more times than I care to count. No cell phones, no cameras. Who ya’ gonna call? Power Rangers?
The staff can be pleasant and helpful, but we must abide by the rules or we’re outta here. A false since of security using a blanket of deception?
I like better the sound of the system you describe.
If there were poll watchers there who observed any miscreants then still everything could be properly documented and reported. It sounds like a good system.
Thank you! Both of these events give me a good feeling! :)
Hope you all are doing well!
That is all we can get for early voting. :)
