A report says that Terry McAuliffe gave over half a million dollars in campaign cash and material support to the wife of an FBI official who was involved in the investigation of Hillary Clintons unsecured, homebrew email server from which she conducted all her business as Secretary of State including the sharing of classified information. From the Wall Street Journal:
The political organization of Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, an influential Democrat with longstanding ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton, gave nearly $500,000 to the election campaign of the wife of an official at the Federal Bureau of Investigation who later helped oversee the investigation into Mrs. Clintons email use.
Campaign finance records show Mr. McAuliffes political-action committee donated $467,500 to the 2015 state Senate campaign of Dr. Jill McCabe, who is married to Andrew McCabe, now the deputy director of the FBI.

This one actually has legs.
The alphabet soup of media are responding. Most are just shilling. But Trump made it news by tweeting it.
Of course, we all have scandal fatigue from the Clintons.
Most people are tired of the Clintons. They just would like them to go away. That includes many Democrats who have zero enthusiasm for Hillary, or even Bill.
Her campaign to Democrats is now, “vote for me, I’m not Trump.” That’s not a good reason to vote.
Enthusiasm gap. That’s the real news of this election.
Trump’s got enthusiasm from his supporters. Hillary has none.
The media is covering it all up, and as such the low-info voters have no idea, because they get their information from the bought and paid for mainstream media.
The FBI has NO shame, and no integrity,
and not an honest man or woman anywhere.
NOT ONE.
The FBI must be dismantled if there is ever to be
respect again.
Waiting for the apologists and excuse-makers to start telling sob stories about pensions and job security for the ‘good guys’ in the fbi.
She was running for a state senate seat. That sounds like a lot of money for that kind of race. I wonder how much total money she got? Real journalists would be asking those questions.
This is impeachable. I have never seen this level of criminal activity involving the FBI in my life. This payoff is being ignored by msm. You really can’t make up how utterly despicable the msm is or the degree of corruption in the FBI. It is a sad day.
“Watergate” for those of you who don’t know ( and most don’t have a clue) was alleged to have been a break in of the DNC masterminded by a White House lawyer named John Dean. Most of the burglars were cuban or Bay if Pigs cia operatives like G. Gordon Liddy. Dean wanted a black book containing the names of prostitutes the DNC used for favors. It is alleged that one of the names was Dean’s girlfriend. Nixon has won the election with 72% of the vote beating the pro communist McGovern of South Dakota. Nixon had zero to do with the stupid Dean’s decision to break into the DNC at the Watergate hotel. ZERO. After they were caught Dean pionted to Nixon ( with lies) ? That is just what the Democrats and media were waiting for. Get this! “Woodward and Berstien” were press “heroes” publishing the allegations of “Deep Throat” as this insider who said Nixon was involved. “Deep throat” was William Felt, an uncorroborated man with a hatred of Nixon who had passed him by for FBI director!! That is not a trustworthy source by ANY journalistic or legal standard. Night after night, on the then relevant news on TV, they pounded “ THE PEOPLE HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW!” followed by unsubstantiated propaganda against NIXON but here with admitted $500,000 payments going from the hillary faction to the lead investigator of the hillary criminal investigation we get NO RIGHT TO KNOW? We need people in the streets.
Another question would be - why would you donate $600,000 to help someone get an $18k a year job?
The headline seems racist to me.
Here's 2 article from 1999 when McAuliffe set up an illegal Teamster-DNC campaign-contribution swap:
"Witness Says Clinton Friend Had Part in Teamster Money Scheme"
John Corzine spent $62 million dollars to become the US Senator of New Jersey; a seat which paid around $200K a year. That’s a return on investment of .003%, annually, or a net loss of $60.8 million dollars. [62,000,000 - (200,000 x 6) = 60,8000,000] Actually, Corzine spent only 5 years as a Senator, so the loss was even greater- $61,000,000.
Of course this was all done in the name of altruism and public service.
Does this story have legs? I will pay money to see the MSM talk about this.....but maybe they are. We can only hope.
Hard to gauge who is the most corrupt.....
Several are addressing it. Some of them are just spinning for Hillary.

Bottom line is that the Clintons are constantly scandalous. So it’s hard to sort through all the garbage they have left in their wake. The nation has scandal fatigue. We have lying news media fatigue.
It comes down to Trump supporter enthusiasm over despised Hillary who is being propped up by a lying, biased media and voter fraud.
Ignore the media. Vote Trump. Make sure your friends and family members who lean Trump show up to vote. This election is still VERY WINNABLE.
We’re living in a Dystopian fantasy land.
I DVR Lou Dobbs every night. The guy is amazing. He covered this tonight and that man as on fire!! Trump needs to jump all over this. This is clear corruption at the highest level of government. It’s pure bribery. Something everyone, even stupid democrats, can understand.
Not only that but it appears that McAwful recruited her to run and then financed her campaign AFTER her husband was assigned to the Clinton investigation. He, by the way, is now the number two guy at the FBI.
Yep, I’m still waiting for one-just one-to stand up. Guess that fat gov’t pension/future book deal is more important to them than their country...
Some points none of the coverage on this seems to address:
1) What was Dr. Jill McCabe’s experience in office? (none)
2) What was her prior political involvement and donation history?
3) How did MacAuliffe even know her?
4) Why did MacAuliffe choose her to run for state Senate, a senior position? Normally candidates are groomed over a period of years, with successively grander jobs, to gain experience, contacts, followings, credibility. But she never paid her dues on as Planning Commissioner, County Commissioner, State Assemblyperson, etc.
5) What was her experience in making laws and representing a constituency? Nada. (I’ll allow that her work as a pediatrician was a better use of time, but it did not give her the knowledge or skills to be a state Senator.)
6) How much did her campaign actually spend?
7) Did she put any of her own funds into the kitty?
8) Did MacAuliffe provide someone to operate her strings? Who actually managed her campaign?
9) Since her opponent was a long time, extremely connected incumbent, wasn’t she just a placeholder, with no chance of winning? Why would she agree to be the sacrificial lamb?
The real message: The McCabes were and are dedicated members of the Clinton-MacAuliffe team. That’s why Dr. Jill McCabe agreed to run for office. It’s not surprising that MacAuliffe sweetened the deal by supplying campaign funds. That’s why Mr. McCabe was jumped up to be FBI Deputy Director (and in part, he was promoted as a reward for his wife running — which was a favor to the Democrats). This wasn’t as simple as funneling bribes to Mr. McCabe via his wife’s campaign. It was a matter of trading favors for jobs and influence, and placing party loyalists as highly as possible within the government. This is how Hillary effects “change from within the system.”
