This ABC News poll was conducted by landline and cellular telephone Oct. 20-22, 2016, in English and Spanish, among a random national sample of 874 likely voters. Results have a margin of sampling error of 3.5 points, including the design effect. Partisan divisions are 36-27-31 percent, Democrats-Republicans-independents.

Maybe, but I know Dems and Republicans who have a severe dislike. He has a lot to overcome and I question his ability to overcome the ‘Romney treatment’. If Trump prevails and overcomes this onslaught it’ll be because of the tremendous cache and enthusiasm he built up over the last year. Cruz has to match that. I’m not sure he’s up to it.
This is mostly academic anyway, as a HRC Dictatorship will import and grant voting rights to millions of 3rd worlders whose votes will be owned by the DNC, whether there’s a Hispanic Republican voting or not.
Let’s see...who can pick the outlier from among those four polls. </sarcasm>
Ted Cruz? The candidate with the greasy face and greasy hair? The guy with the piercing, nasal voice like a dentist’s drill?
The guy who lied: “Donald loves Obamacare. Donald wants single-payer, socialized health care for every American. Donald told the New York Times that he won’t build a wall.”
The Romney treatment that he hates 47% of the country, hates women, hates latinos, is an out-of-touch rich guy? I don’t see how any of that gets pinned to Cruz.
They would definitely try to label him as a Christian fundamentalist. But Bush said Jesus Christ was his favorite philosopher and won twice. I don’t think Christianity is a negative yet in this country. Unless the rainbow jihad has really brainwashed a critical mass of people.
They’re probably even more trying to discourage donations to Trump by making people think the money would be wasted.
Too specific. Romney is about as straight-laced white bread as they come and the media made him look like Satan. They’ll seize on whatever they can with Cruz and do the same. I should’ve called it ‘Republican treatment’ but Romney seemed the best example because of how recent and how non-threatening he is. A Republican candidate needs a groundswell of support to overcome what the media will do to him/her. If you think Cruz is somehow immune you’d be very disappointed.
Clinton is winning stay home
Romney came within a couple of percentage points of winning against a popular incumbent. He lost Florida by 60k votes, that’s very close. Virginia was very close, too. Someone in that mold this year would have walked away with this election.
Cruz would have had zero chance of beating Clinton, you are completely right about that.
He did come close and with an honest impartial press he would’ve annihilated BO.
Fox is just the voice of the Republican part of the uni-party. They are terrified of Trump because the entire system is so rotten than it can’t tolerate the presence of an honest outsider even for a minute.
They will do anything to stop Trump....
I have no idea what is going to happen. No matter what the polls say the people have the chance to defy the Propaganda Ministry and vote for real change on election day.
I hope they do. In any event the game is just about out for the way things are and the bi-partisan partisans of the status quo. You might say God is going to cast a vote for change during the next couple of years that NO fraud can resist. The economy, the culture, and the military situation are at a breaking point and will soon generate a crisis that is more than all the liars and spin doctors can cover up.
We are cursed with living in interesting times as the Chinese say. For better and worse they are about to get positively fascinating.

Cruz would have crushed Hilary Clinton easy. Cruz did consistently better in head to head polls against Hilary Clinton than Trump ever did.
