I think you will see this for sure.
OBAMA WILL ISSUE HILLARY A FULL PARDON BEFORE HE LEAVES OFFICE. IT WILL BE SWEEPING AND UNCONDITIONAL. IT WILL NOT MATTER IF SHE WINS OR LOSES THE WH.
I’m not saying doing this is right or wrong, but when Ford pardoned Nixon, before any indictment I might add, he did so to avoid our country going through a divisive period.
Obama will do the same thing, and might even craft it in the same way Ford did.
Hussein pardoning Roberts would ge a fitting final insult from The W0n.
I expect it. But the idiot in chief will have to go much further. With the current evidence, Bill Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, Cheryl(sp) Mills, Loretta Lynch, Director Comey, John Podesta and dozens of others at the White House and State Department along with those associated with the Clinton Global Initiative and Clinton Foundation are subject to indictment and convictions.
Methinks that that the Crintons are crates of cans of worms.
Can’t pardon her. She hadn’t been convicted. Hush
Like OJ got away with murder, the pardons if it happens will only delay catching them down the line at some point. All roads lead to jail
I’ve been preaching that message for a very long time. Hillary is not going to jail, neither will she even be charged for any of this mess.
But............ once a criminal, always a criminal. That vile woman will continue, committing new crimes, after the pardon. Then Trump can fry her evil ass.
POTUS can pardon people for federal crimes only. With all the crap she has pulled, there must be some state laws she has broken.
And Trump should deliberately ignore it and prosecute her anyway. Argue it was an intentional effort by Obama to cover up his own culpability and therefore invalid.
Absent conviction, the pardon is meaningless.
I know, I know, Nixon. Fallacious analogy. The pardon was never challenged. It was invalid
Can a pardon by one president be rescinded by another?
Can a pardon by one president be rescinded by another?
“OBAMA WILL ISSUE HILLARY A FULL PARDON BEFORE HE LEAVES OFFICE. IT WILL BE SWEEPING AND UNCONDITIONAL.”
In the end it won’t matter. Her health is deteriorating rapidly which is a prison sentence in an of its self.
There’s always bubba to go after legally, too.
Here is where it gets tricky for H. Remember the cops the beat Rodney King?
Same situation. Her Thighness won’t be exempt from civil action taken by people beaten in Chicago. Someone with a paper cut from that violence could sue her for a $Billion and a jury will award it. So, while I exaggerate a bit, my point is Zero can only protect her for so long and only so much.
Then there are the history books. The Zero chapter is not finished until WE say it is.
I’ve been thinking about this a couple days... TRUMP should announce that if he wins he will give Hillary a full pardon.
This will accomplish several things...
makes Trump look like the alpha and her lesser than he
reassures fence voters that she will not be persecuted
make it look like he is putting the country ahead of politics
helps him with women voters.
Ford’s pardon of Nixon was highly unusual in that no conviction for a crime had been delivered and no formal charges had been levied.
The Constitution allows a President to grant “Reprieves or Pardons for Offences against the United States” except in cases of Impeachment. Both require a conviction, in my reading of the definitions for both. Pardon for a penalty imposed and Reprieve for a penalty about to be imposed.
I believe Nixon’s “pardon” would not have withstood a legal challenge, since no crime had been charged nor conviction reached. But the country was tired of the whole Nixon affair and wanted it all put behind us,
I don’t think Obummer is able to pardon Hillary (or Lynch or Comey or Eric Holder, et al) because none have been charged with anything. It may take some (sorely lacking) Congressional spine to reject such a pardon but I think it could be done. And I don’t think the Supreme Court would dare try their “we are the final arbiters of the Constitution” crap if Congress took the ball first and ran with it.
I’m no lawyer but I believe President Trump could sweep aside any “pardon from suspicion” and proceed with prosecutions that are so richly deserved.
Obama couldn’t pardon Clinton because the language of the pardon would have to be so broad as to be ridiculous.
It's a little late for that.
