Attempted to post a thread on the EU forcing the Brits to use French not English in the Brexit talks. Perhaps the French should be reminded that the Normandy rescue was done by all English speaking allies (US, Brits, Canada, Aussies) or they would all be speaking German.
This is what happens when liberty loving sovereign nations join organizations in an effort to spread freedom. Some d**mn dictator is elected to leadership and liberty is lost.
The US Constitution is simply not transferable - liberty has to be earned with blood, sweat and tears - not club membership dues.
My first trip to Paris, a woman accidentally bumped into me at a grocery store with her cart. She said, “Excusez-moi, sil vous plait.” I said, “Oh, no, excuse me” and she hissed in English, “You are so RUDE to speak to me in English en France!” I calmly responded in English, “If it wasn’t for Americans and our English, you’d be speaking to me in German because we saved your derriere not once but twice from Hitler.” She fled.
