On TuesdaysCNN Newsroom, anchor Brooke Baldwin asserted that there already are are term limits on members of Congress. Baldwin said, [L]et me just relay this to everyone, that apparently, from the Trump camp, there is another major announcement that Trump will make today as part of his pledge to drain the swamp, we keep hearing drain the swamp in Washington. He says, If Im elected president, I will push for a constitutional amendment to impose term limits on all members of Congress, correct me, there already are term limits, so what does he mean?

Flashback: Brooke Baldwin blames military veterans for Baltimore riots
I HATE his imitation of Trump on SNL.
No more career journalists. If they can’t tell the truth once in two years, out they go.
Term limits stifle freedom of speech. I find it awful interesting that Conservatives, when they held power in Washington, were actually against term limits. Now, all of a sudden, we can’t get our way via voting the bastards out, so we’re gonna stomp and scream because we didn’t get our way, and want to change the rules?!?! Not this guy.
Well, not surprising because in the World of DemocRats, the Constitution doesn’t exist anyway. Why bother to actually READ the thing?
It’s so obvious that Baldwin’s imitation of Trump says so much more about him than Trump. Plus, Alex isn’t aging well.
Good grief! Bash couldn’t have just said, “You’re wrong, Brooke. Congressional members DO NOT HAVE TERM LIMITS now...” I’m sure with that ridiculous lengthy diatribe, Baldwin must have been wondering what on earth happened to her statement of them already “having term limits.”
I am NOT a fan of term limits
Congress is the most direct representation the People have. Why limit them? its very much anti-democratic.
Congress’ power has slowly and steadily been eroded the Executive, the absolutely MASSIVE Federal Bureaucracy and its rule-making ability, the Courts, and the Federal Reserve, and our totally fiat money. Congress is NOT the source of our problems.
Term-limited Congressmen will just make the system worse, with 8 years to make their mark, grab an issue, become a demagogue. Since the massive nanny-state will not shrink, it will just transfer more technical knowledge and power to the unseen aides and apparatchiks behind the scenes who haunt DC
Why not instead pose term-limits on all government agencies?? If not specifically re-authorized by Congress and the President, they will all immediately end 10 years from date of inception.
But she's not a newsreader. She's a journalist.
Really! She'll tell ya that too!
I dunno, he looks pretty good in this photo:
Who knew he would go all Caitlyn Jenner on us though?
Stupid is as stupid does.
Yeah dumbass Baldwin there are term limits. It is called death.
Not surprising..decent looking but dumb as a bucket of rocks..like Judge Judy once said, beauty fades but dumb is forever..I can see why she works at CNN..good thing she can read a teleprompter
“The Stupid! It burns!”
Agree totally. Long terms are not the reason these people are sellouts. Look at all the mayhem Obama is creating within his term limits.
Least of all do I think a convention of states is the answer. If we do anything like that, in which the criminals called Democrats can participate, we are nuts. And to do it for term limits is the stupidest reason I can think of at the moment.
No. No more career bureaucrats. Sadly, our last line of defense for the Republic is our elected politicians. We have a $4 Trillion leftist nanny state run by PERMANENT social-engineering bureaucrats. Who elected them? Who controls them?
Fix that first and above all
It’s not like Fox News people are any smarter (although Bill O’Reilly DID GO TO HARVARD). Here in the Podesta emails for example we have a little note from Juan Williams:

No fault for putting his cellphone number in an email that he didn’t know would become public - but what kind of IDIOT still uses AOL Mail in 2016??
