A Muslim advocacy group is calling for a northern Minnesota high school to cancel an event with a speaker whom they describe as an anti-Muslim conspiracy theorist.
The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN) says that John Guandolo should no longer be invited to speak at Bagley High School because his message is one that shouldnt be highlighted on a taxpayer-funded platform.
The perception that the high school may be endorsing Guandolos anti-Muslim bigotry could lead to a hostile learning environment for Muslim and other minority students, said Jaylani Hussein, the executive director of CAIR-MN, in a statement.
Guandolo, a former FBI agent, is the founder of UnderstandingtheThreat.com. According to descriptions his books, he believes that the Muslim Brotherhood is trying to overthrow the American government and that some high ranking U.S. officials are secret Muslims and the tools of Middle Eastern governments and organizations.
CAIR-MN suggests that the high school tell Guandolo to find a private venue for his talk.
The schools superintendent could not be reached Tuesday for comment. Bagley is about 250 miles north of the Twin Cities.
Sadly, I'll bet that the school caves in on this.
In 2007, Chris began researching the threat of jihadi organizations in the United States by posing as a Muslim convert and attending Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas conferences gaining access as an intern with the Hamas organization Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) in Virginia.
We don’t care for you CAIR! STFU!!!
Who is Chris?
Like telling theTruth about Democrats is bad, so too is telling the Truth about Islam.
Roaches just hate it when folks turn on the lights.
Apparently the other guy at “Understanding the Threat.”
Thanks!
Minnesota, to me, is a write off as an American state.
The Left understands the foundation of republics and how to destroy them. Undermine civil society and the republic upon which it is built is sure to topple. Simple.
Nice catch!
Please, don’t write us all off, there’s a bunch of liberal weenies in the 3 largest cities, but there’s a lot of us bitter clingers out here, as well. You just hear about the nutjobs most of the time.
Tons of Trump signs all over the state.
I dunno. A lot of quite-til-now middler Minnesotans are getting fed up, especially about refugees and immigrants. This election could be surprising.
Here’s about guns: http://www.startribune.com/as-gun-carrying-permits-reach-historic-levels-in-minnesota-related-crimes-remain-in-check/322600721/
“Sadly, I’ll bet that the school caves in on this.”
Well, if that happens, then people best get off their butts and show up at the next schoolboard meeting 1,000 strong. And if they can’t do that, then they deserve to lose their freedom of association, followed by an Islamic jackboot in their faces.
“Minnesota, to me, is a write off as an American state.”
Never write off a state. We have the very effective 1867-68 Reconstruction Act waiting to take back any state from leftists, communists or Mohammedan sand rats.
