Melania Trump defended her husband in an interview with CNNs Anderson Cooper that aired Monday night.
Melania said she was surprised by the language her husband used because she had never heard him speak like that before. She also said she believed he was egged on by Billy Bush to say dirty and bad stuff.
And when Cooper brought up the allegations of unwanted sexual advances, Melania replied, Hes not the man, hes not the man that would do that.
She said during the interview that she believes him in part because of all the times shes seen him reject brazen advances from other women.
"I see many, many women coming to him and giving phone numbers and, you know, want(ing) to work for him -- inappropriate stuff from women. And they know he's married," she said.
"You've seen that?" Cooper asked.
"Oh yes, of course. It was in front of me," Trump said. "In front of me. And I've said, like, 'Why did you give your number to my husband?'"
One thing Melania said she wasnt surprised about was the timing of the release. Why now, why after so many years, why three weeks before the election? she asked rhetorically before pinning the blame on the media.
"It was the media. It was NBC. It was Access Hollywood," she added. "It was left wing and left-wing media. You could see that. Everything was organized. Every Friday something comes out," she said, noting later in the interview that she believes the media and the Clintons are working together to bring her husband down.
But Melania told Cooper that her husband was prepared for his transition into politics to be more challenging given the many controversial remarks hes made over the years as an entertainer.
"It's very hard, especially for him -- when he decided to run for the presidency, because he did so many stuff in his life. He was on so many tapes, so many shows. And we knew that -- that, you know, tapes will come out, people won't want to go against him.
"But my husband is real. He's raw. He tells it like it is. He's kind. He's a gentleman. He supports everybody. He supports women. He encourages them to go to the highest level, to achieve their dreams. He employs many, many women," she said.
One thing she doesnt want from the American people is sympathy.
"I'm very strong. And people -- they don't really know me. People think and talk about me like, 'Oh, Melania, oh poor Melania,'" she said.
"Don't feel sorry for me. Don't feel sorry for me. I can handle everything," she added.
A true First Lady — been a long time since we had one.
And then there's that good ole married women's motto....Before me...I don't want to know....
and half still wind up divorced...or having an illegitimate child...or an abortion.
Be real ladies....

Me too I think the same.
And appealing because my Mom was an immigrant, came here in 1954.
There is much I have in common with her not to goet into too much detail here.
Very pretty, too.
Melania is a beautiful, classy, sophisticated lady and would be a great credit to our country. She might become most beautiful political wife in the entire world. The first time I heard that stupid conversation with Billy, I picked right up that he was egging Trump on. And, I sensed that Trump was entertaining Billy because he like making the guy laugh. It was strictly a guy thing. I see my young Grandson do ridiculous things to make his friend laugh. He will be just as stupid as he needs to get that response.
You’re right. It’s a guy thing.
Someone needs to follow some members of the MSM around with a hidden camera. That’ll take them down a few pegs. I’m so sick of their holier than thou attitudes.
Notice in the video that in the presence of the woman, Trump was very gentlemanly. Kept a polite distance, kept his hands to himself, tried to keep the guy between him and the female as much as possible.
Or did NBC release what they chose to release?
The MT interview was a bad idea from a campaign standpoint.
I was in the gym last night - and CNN had ‘commentary’ about the interview for 2 consecutive hours.
They did not cover anything on WikiLeaks or any HC issue
One result of this mess is that everyone, men and women, will be very careful in what they say in all circumstances forever.
Proof That Donald Trump Does Not Assault Women
I did listen to the entire video but some people skipped the first 5-6 minutes because Diana Davidson is a deliberate speaker and sets the stage for her analysis. That video sets the whole episode in context and leaves Trump looking a bit embarrassed but not in anyway abusive or dismissive to women.
The video analysis that GilGil linked, (FR 10/16) on the Trump “pussy” tape was excellent and teases apart the media’s deceptive, selective editing which removed the context from the recording. The whole thing was definitely a setup, part of a story line.

Yesterday that video had 15,000 views. I highlighted everywhere I can. It sells itself.
You mean they would have covered those things if no MT interview? Wow, I didn’t know they interviewed her 24/7.
The fastidious types who plan to sit this election out should consider the prospect of Billy Jeff as First Chick.
(It would be amusing, though, if their graft and corruption path to the Off-White House succeeds, to see BJ kick Kaine out of a West Wing office like Hitlery did to Algore.)
vs
"...when walking down the street, they say things to you"
Do not discount the possibility that Billy Bush taking orders from his grandfather and cousin Billy Jeff, egged on Donald Trump.
