How right you are. And yet folks keep lining up for Hillary to blame and have disappear. Susan and Jim McDougal, Jerry Parks, Vince Foster... the list is long of people who took the big fall for Hillary.
All these people thought they were safe as insiders.
Then there was Jim Guy Tucker, taken down with Susan and Jim. Here was a sitting governor forced to resign, and it was all Whitewater related. Whitewater! Bill and Hillary were eyeball deep in it.

Tucker was convicted of one count of conspiracy and one count of mail fraud on May 28, 1996 as part of Kenneth Starr’s investigation of the Whitewater scandal. Tucker was tried with fellow defendants James B. McDougal and his wife Susan McDougal, the prosecution conducted primarily by OIC prosecutor Ray Jahn. Tucker chose not to testify in his own defense upon the advice of his attorney. Tucker received a lenient sentence of four years’ probation and house detention in part because of his poor health.
Poor health? He’s still alive today, twenty years later.
