First of all, teachers should not be able to unionize.
They receive a government paycheck, and there’s a double standard them being able to vote on things that affect their employment directly.
Trump has made it known he wants to do away with the Department of Education and those who do not work for it are at a disadvantage here.
NEA members vote 100% against the change.
The real problem with education is that it is public. I say that as an educator. One point I would like to make known to you is that all union members do not “vote 100% against the change” as you state. I had to join the union to protect myself against crazy liberal bosses. Unfortunately, in some states, joining the union is the only way to survive. I don’t like it and I don’t think it is right, but it is reality. All I can say is: Go Trump.
