Well, if Wisconsin is any indicator of the future, most teachers would rather get out of the union if given a choice.

The real problem with education is that it is public. I say that as an educator. One point I would like to make known to you is that all union members do not “vote 100% against the change” as you state. I had to join the union to protect myself against crazy liberal bosses. Unfortunately, in some states, joining the union is the only way to survive. I don’t like it and I don’t think it is right, but it is reality. All I can say is: Go Trump.

In my first few grades I went to public school. It was a different time and the programs were pro U.S., loyal to the nation, and that’s all they did. They taught students what they should have been.

So I am not necessarily against public schools. I am dead set against communist, LBGT, gender specific, global warming, and other societal indoctrination centers.

Get back to what we’re supposed to be teaching “kids” and I’ll buy off on the public schools.

I agree. Public schools have become bastions of the loony left. I think the only way to take back public schools is to convince conservatives to go into education. Its a tough place to work. I fear if I put a Trump sticker on my car I would have my tires slashed, and who knows what the kids would do.

I agree. I understand your plight.

Look, when their parents get jobs under the Trump administration, you can mention how his policies have spurred business and new hiring

Perhaps a personal issue like that can make some inroads.

I teach and every single teacher at my, admittedly small, school are very vocally expressing support for Trump.
