Very true, my friend. But compared to what? Barry Goldwater, who started out as a staunch small gov. conservative only to overstay his welcome in the Senate and become a cantankerous fool?
The liberal Nixon, who gave us OSHA and the EPA and tried to force the Equal Rights Amendment down our throats and was a paranoid to boot?
Or the Hapless Gerry Ford, also an ERA booster who got steamrolled by the democrats on the disgraceful exit from Vietnam and laid much of the groundwork for turning over the Panama Canal?
Or “Thousand Points of Light”, George Herbert No New Taxes Walker Bush who tossed Reaganism out the window?
Or Bob Dole, better known as the ‘tax collector of the welfare state’?
How about GWB, who pretended to be a Reagan conservative but who governed more like a run of the mill democrat, making previous presidents seem downright frugal.
Then we have our global warming alarmist and mentally unstable McCain to think about. Who to this day is trying to resurrect McCain Feingold.
And don’t forget the Varmint Shooter himself, Willard RomneyCare. A two-faced stiff if there ever was one, who is still trying to pick bits of Candy Crowley’s fat lady loafer out of his teeth.
So yes, Trump is flawed. In several ways. But he has the most conservative platform of any President since Silent Cal, and the most combative temperament since Truman. And that will suit me just fine.

Like Nolan all of them have seemingly renounced our nation. They act like they never heard of the United States of America.
Its as if they live their lives in exile......they never even mention America or, more importantly, ways to preserve American values.
Even more egregious, one could conclude Hillary and Bill gave explicit orders that no one shall ever mention the United States of America in their presence ever again.
Trump should ask Hillary in the debate if her team has been ordered to put the needs of globalism over the laws, values, and traditions of the United States.
I also disagree. He’s a warrior and we need a warrior. This election is really for the whole ball of wax. The SCOTUS alone should make any freedom loving American petrified of a Hitlery dictatorship.
