The US military has launched strikes on radar sites in Yemen, the Pentagon announced, according to Reuters. The move comes in response to failed attacks on the US navy destroyer USS Mason.
According to the Pentagon’s initial assessments, three “radar sites” in the Houthi rebel-controlled area of Yemen were destroyed in the attack.
The US military vowed to respond to “any further threat to our ships and commercial traffic,” according to a statement cited by Reuters.

No, but they did find the remains of 33,000 of Hillary’s emails scattered about the radar sites. Apparently the Houthis couldn’t read English so they just stored them in the complexes to translate later.
When asked to comment on this find, Hillary said, “Houthi gives a damn at this time?”.

One of the “other” ships targeted was the USS Ponce, an amphibious ship—and the only USN vessel outfitted with a laser weapons system for self-defense. It will be interesting to learn if the system was used in combat for the first time. Not really designed for employment against anti-ship missiles, but could have been used against small boats reportedly being used to provide targeting info to the missile batteries on the shore.
Wasn’t this the anti-war administration that was going to get us out of Iraq, but ended up escalating the action in Afghanistan, getting us back into Iraq, into Syria, attacked in Turkey, and now attacking Yemen for a rebuttal?
