HOUSTON - A 911 operator is accused of hanging up on people calling for help.
Investigators say that Crenshanda Williams had thousands of "short calls", lasting less than 20 seconds.
In one call, a security guard reported drivers drag racing. Moments later, investigators say that Williams hung up. The recording captures her saying "aint' nobody got time for this. For real."
Williams reportedly told investigators she often hangs up on callers because she didn't feel like talking with anyone at the time.

True. If anyone was injured or died as a result of her callous behavior, she should face criminal charges. Scratch that. She should face criminal charges. Period.

She seems like a nice girl but she’s got too many hangups.
Many years ago (long before 911), I was 17 and working the graveyard shift as a long-distance operator in a large Northeastern city. Since there was no emergency system in place, people would dial “0” for Police, Fire, Medical Emergencies, or just to do some heavy breathing. I talked down a few suicides, always made the right connections to Fire, Police, or Ambulance, and may have saved a few lives.
All for $80.00 a week and a cab ride home at 2:00AM.
This woman is inexcusable.

The name Crenshanda and 340 pounds just seem to go together.
All the other prisoners move away from her on the bench.
This is why I will dial Smith&Wesson instead of 911. In a just world, they would nail her ass to the wall, but she is a protected species. Punishment would be racist, don’t you know?
