That’s interesting speculation. Similar with the state tax returns mailed to NYT. NBC was working on pussygate, but was scooped by WaPo who got a copy of the tape. Knowing that hits are going to come, there is great advantage to being able to control the timing of them.
This is Trump’s great genius. If you expose the mine before it is fully emplaced — before the careful set-up questions are laid, before the enemy has all their pre-scripted talking points memorized — you can take advantage of the Press’s overriding greed and selfishness to have the scoop, to get them talking over each other. And in the cross talk, you can pick out the admissions of coordination and bad faith and connections to the political fixers who were driving things.

Seems an orchestrated attack to gin up debate viewership. Stephy was in full Trump attack mode. Had to turn him off. This faux outrage is ridiculous. Never heard such venom aimed at the Clintons over sexual assaults, perjury , impeachment etc. instead Ken Starr was framed as a creep getting jollies poking around in Bills sex life. The corrupt media will bring this country down.

Trump is a fighter. He should rely on his gut instincts and fight like a Dem. Trump needs to get down in the mud and the blood and the beer to do whatever is necessary to win. The pundits have written his obituary many times. They underestimate his connection to the people and the great unwashed. It is Trump and the people against the elites. He is the underdog.
