Veteran FBI agents say FBI Director James Comey has permanently damaged the bureau’s reputation for uncompromising investigations with his “cowardly” whitewash of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information using an unauthorized private e-mail server. Agents say Comey tied investigators’ hands by agreeing to unheard-of ground rules and other demands by the lawyers for Clinton and her aides that limited their investigation. Comey has turned a once-proud institution known for its independence into one that bows to election pressure, hands out political immunity to candidates and effectively pardons their co-conspirators. He’s turned the FBI into the Federal Bureau of Immunity and lost the trust and respect of not only his agents but the country at large. He ought to step down.

The fbi only does three things;
Investigate and they don’t do that very well,
Arrest, as long as your poor white and not guilty that they do that pretty good.
And assassinate:
their specialty is assassinating honest US Christian and/or Patriots like Lavoy Finicum and Vicky Weaver.
Every once in a while they eliminate one of the presidents enemies or threats,
Crooked Hil-Liary is a threat, she could spill her guts and even the Boston Globe would have to turn on the Kenyan, so the fbi at the orders of herr obamait, may be opening a path for Biden, or Kerry, or Gore, or maybe even a Paul Ryan/Mittens Romney candidacy.

Four things: investigate, arrest, assassinate, and weasel out of mistakes.
If I’m not mistaken, FBI agents have arrest powers and can exercise that power when they have evidence that a crime is underway.
Start arresting, FBI. Start with the FBI director and head of the justice department. You boys and girls can work your up the ladder from there.

Agreed. However, every single agent and employee in the FBI that lets this kind of BS happen is just as much to blame. Hey, FBI, you want to begin to recover your reputation? Start by cleaning house. Not someday, not if/when we get President Trump in there...now, today.
What has happened and what is happening inside the FBI is clearly not right. Everyone knows it. Some of you FBI personnel have direct knowledge of wrongdoing. Your failure to act makes you an accessory. Do something about it, or resign, or accept the fact you are a corrupt criminal too. Waiting for someone else to do something is the chicken-s**t option.
FBI, little more than Gestapo wannabes.
The new politically correct, Affirmative Action FBI will soon be murdering political dissidents, not just every few years, but every few weeks, and then daily.
They’ll hunker down like other bureaucrats while the Trump phenomenon plays itself out, but they’ll cheat around the edges and long for blood when Trump leaves the scene or is co-opted.

Number one— If they were going to resign over this, they would have already done it.
Number two— testifying before Congress does nothing. Nothing happens, nothing changes. The do nothing Congress gets on TV- Big deal!
It appears you've never heard of executive privilege. This would be laughed out of even a respectable court without physical evidence of criminal activity. Not to mention that it would take years to wend its way through the courts. In the meantime, a MSM blackout will be enforced.
Separate from the above, the complaints from inside are coming from those not involved in the case. Not so subtle pressure or backseat driving?
TO ANN ARCHY: I didn’t say anyone of them did resign. I was just pointing out that it’s easy for us to say: “If they were honorable they would have resigned.” When you have a family to support and a career you worked hard to attain, it’s not that easy. Put yourself in their shoes. From your screen name, I assume you are female. Maybe you’ve had the privilege of not having to go out into this crappy, dog-eat-dog world to support a family. Everyone doesn’t have that privilege. Remember the old Indian adage: “Don’t judge another man until you’ve walked a mile in his moccasins.”
President Trump should close the doors on the FBI and fire all of them.
Those wanting to be rehired would have to pass a serious lie detector test to determine if they could be considered to be rehired.
Those passing the above would then be interviewed by people trained to look for liars/traitors.
Those passing both of the above could be hired on an “As needed basis” for 2 years.”
If they don’t revert to the Comey disease, then they could be considered to be full time agents.
