Apparently California Governor Jerry Brown was not convinced by Obama's denials as he signed a bill back in June that allowed the state to apply for a federal waiver to open Covered California to illegal immigrants. And, lest you thought it was a bluff, Covered California’s Executive Director Peter Lee has just sent a letter (attached in its entirety below) to the Health and Human Services Secretary, Sylvia Burwell, requesting a waiver to "expand access to undocumented individuals."

Why would they want it? What illegals get is far better than ACA. I have friends who have considered pretending to be illegal, because they could get better healthcare.

Since most of the illegals will be under the poverty line, Covered California (the ACA site) will put them in MediCal, California MEDICAID program.
The better question is if MEDICAID will be reimbursing California for the cost.
Moonbeam is posturing for something, along with being an America-hating POS and truly a law-breaker like the rest of the DemocRAT ilk. Bass-turds. He and his scumbags have RUINED CALIFORNIA.

In our family one has come in outright illegality and they are trying to get their income up. But no way are they not on the system. Especially with kids born here there is assistance.
The youngest is now starting pre-school, so soon both will work and their income should go from $24,000 to $35-40,000 soon.
I have told them, legally pay taxes. Do your best to assimilate.
Of course all the illegals and most new generations are Democrats because they want their family here, but even though Trump probably will win, it is best to show you work and pay taxes above the poverty line.
You can never be here as a resident unless you earn 125% of the poverty line by law.
Lots of doctors in CA are not accepting Medi-Cal patients because they lose money on them.
And Gov. Moonbeam wants to add thousands to the Medi-Cal rolls who won’t be able to find doctors either.
How long can this gravy train run?
Why am I the only one who knows that the ASA was for the ultimate plan of amnesty for illegals. If they are to declare amnesty for all invaders they knew they’d better make healthcare a law. Obamacare and Amnesty have always been the central planners and the National Chamber of Commerce’s goal.

If Kalifornia wants it, let Kalifornia fund it - gonna be a LOT of pissed People if the government uses their tax dollars to fund health care for illegal invaders....
