Comey Continues in a Long Line of Corruption

Director of FBI, James Comey, Continues the Honorable Tradition of the Dishonorable FBI/Department of Justice! From the very beginning of FBI history, there has been a terrible stench of corruption, cowardliness, and treason. J Edgar Hoover, the obsessive cross dresser and American Rasputin, was so severely compromised by the Jewish/Italian mob that he had to routinely pay off.....

Mostly the FBI has been a law enforcement joke; But a PR champion. Upon trying to get drafted in ‘64 the FBI did a “thorough” investigation of me for the Army. Later as personnel clerk I was able to see my 3” thick investigation file.

The FBI sent letters to the state and local police in WA where I was an anti-communist activist, and to IL where I was in everything anti-Dem machine, and in M-S and other states where I hitchhiked while waiting to get drafted. Each of those police departments then sent letters to each other asking if they had anything on me.

Each of those police departments responded that they had 3 inquiries about me. As the inquiries back and forth multiplied such that some departments had dozens of inquiries on me. They assumed that where there was smoke, there was fire. Neither FBI nor police asked a single question of my political friends on the left and right. They did not ask a single question on my enemies, the Chicago machine pols who knew me. They did not ask a single question of those in MS and TX where I had attended KKK and Communist Party meetings and civil rights group meetings, etc.

My file was 3” of bureaucratic inefficiency. And why was investigated? Because when the staff seargeant at the induction center saw all the far left and far right groups I had had contact with, he asked me what my real politics was.

I answered: Barry Goldwater.
He concluded I would not be loyal to the President LBJ.
I responded: I raised my right hand and swore to protect, not the President, but the Constitution and that is what I will do.

He took that as a smart alec response and initiated the 19 month investigation, the inefficient bureaucracy we all know is there, hidden behind the PR campaign.

I too did some fact checking back when this was first being said as quickly as he died, and found your statement above to be true. The left was doing their best to discredit the FBI as they are doing now to discredit police everywhere.

Hoover was a standup guy with a passion for good law enforcement - a workaholic. He also loved horse racing, as do I.
