Not to muddle the discussion further, but...
the constellation Cetus gets within a degree of the zodiacal belt and occasionally the planets will be in Cetus. The sun too, I believe.
Doesn’t matter unless you’re a Pisces. Then you’re usually a nice fishy person but once in a while a ghastly sea monster.
Ophiuchus? O-fuch-us? Now that right there is FUBAR!
Makes me think, I’m an engineer, there was a huge push to go metric in the 1990’s.
But never a push for metric time? 24 hours per day? 60 minutes per hour? 60 seconds per minute???
Yes. The stars merely provided a calendar.
Hmm. Ophiuchus, the serpent. Serpent - Satan - Allah. More NASA - Muslim outreach, I guess.
I sometimes saw my sign is “Slippery When Wet.”
I assume you mean the 13th constellation thing is a hoax. Because it is true that the constellations are all off by one as a result of the Earth's slight rotational wobble over the past few thousand years, or since the signs were created.
P.S. Sorry Mars wont be as big as the full moon this August, thats a hoax too
That hoax comes out every Aug. Yet many people fall for it. Mars is roughly twice the diameter of the Moon. For it to appear as large as a full moon, it would have to be at twice the average distance to the Moon, or approximately 280,000 miles away. In reality, Mars never gets closer to Earth than about 35 MILLION miles.
Re: or approximately 280,000 miles (from Earth)
Make that, 480,000 miles, as the Moon is on average about 240,000 miles from Earth.
Well, it is fake. Fun but fake. :) No offense.
They’d need to consider people in the Southern hemisphere, too. The seasons are reversed there.
So people born in October here are Fall babies, while an October birth in Australia is Springtime.
Oh, that’s a good point. I forgot about them.
Indeed. Don’t fall to pisces over it.
Yeah, it’s just a loud of taurus.
:D
Yeah, and NASA has verified Nibiru, and admitted that Apollo was a hoax, blah blah blah.

[snip] Ophiuchus was one of the 48 constellations listed by the 2nd-century astronomer Ptolemy, and it remains one of the 88 modern constellations. It was formerly referred to as Serpentarius and Anguitenens. [/snip]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ophiuchus_(astrology)
[snip] The idea appears to have originated in 1970 with Stephen Schmidt’s suggestion of a 14-sign zodiac (also including Cetus as a sign). A 13-sign zodiac has been suggested by Walter Berg and by Mark Yazaki in 1995, a suggestion that achieved some popularity in Japan, where Ophiuchus is known as Hebitsukai-Za, “The Serpent Bearer”).
