Hillary Clinton announced Friday that she wants to enlist 5 million new volunteers into a “national service reserve” aimed at 18- to 30-year-olds.
“What if we strengthen the culture of service in America? So it wasn’t just something we did one day a year, but it became a regular part of our lives,” she asked in a Florida rally on the topic of national service Friday.
The former secretary of state argued that her volunteer plan would help combat growing self-segregation in America, where people surround themselves with people who think, talk, look and read the same news as them. “That comes with a cost, it magnifies our differences,” she said, adding that the election has drawn attention to that trend.

After you go through the sensativty training, diversity orientation, islamophdia seminar and the white priveledge convention....will there be any time left to do anything?
I think you covered most of the program’s real goals.
It appears that the membership in her organization would not be paid, or at most a small stipend and maybe some free college and college credits.
This is all we need. Younger adults putting their careers on hold for this half baked idea. And granting college credits is a bad idea. Our kids need to be better educated, not less educated. They need more class time, not less.
It probably would be better to not mention this at all. The comments are not kind.
I continue to be amazed just how out of touch with normal people Hillary is. She has no idea what is going on outside the beltway. Not the whisper of a clue.

Obama promoted this very idea in his first acceptance speech with the Greek columns as back drop.
How did he put that? An “army”, or some synonym of the word. It remained fuzzy, but then as our population was transformed before our eyes, we can get the picture.
No wonder has brought in “the children” of South American socialism.
Just think of what kind of an army we would have if we had kids like that? Today Amerika tomorrow der Vurld. LOL, those cream puffs and over weight kids of today would have the crap beat out of them in basic.
