He just read from Trump's book what he had to say about here then. Nothing but good stuff he defended her even preventing her from being fired.
Agree. He was unprepared and received poor advice, vis-à-vis, treading lightly on HRC in the face of attack.

Rush is showing just how out of touch he is these days. First he thinks Trump won the Hawkeye Cauceye, then in the next breath he says Trump only has one campaign headquarters in Florida. Trump has a campaign headquarters a mile from my house, and I live in a small town in Florida.
Rush needs to get his head in the game, because at this point his lack of knowledge about basic things is embarrassing. He’s not passing on knowledge or insight like he used to, he’s bloviating, and he’s better than that, or at least he should be.
I caught a few minutes of Limbaugh -- in the car, otherwise I don't listen to him -- and i thought he was playing his typical "dumb on purpose" act so he could draw out the point into an hour of programming over the next day.
To me, the question of whether or not Trump should skip a debate opportunity with Crooked is easy to answer. It doesn't merit more than half a minute of explanation.
At any rate, I agree with your point that he is bloviating, just not sure his "lack of knowledge" is real or feigned, although I presume it is feigned for effect.
Rush wants Trump to lose, but he is making some bucks on tee-shirt sales. And just in case Trump wins he can say he supported him.
