During the Commander-in-Chief forum held in New York City on Sept. 7, close-up photos of Hillary Clinton's left ear showed she had some sort of earpiece in it, prompting concerns she was receiving on-the-fly coaching from her campaign while taking questions.
Now, a Reuters photo of Clinton shows she may have had the same type of device in her ear again on Monday evening during the first presidential debate with Donald Trump. Was she getting instructions from her campaign team while she was engaged in the debate?
The earpiece used Sept. 7 was a pearl color. The object in her ear Monday night was meant to match her skin tone almost perfectly. But when one zooms in to the photo, her outline of her tragus can be seen overlapping whatever it is.
Ultimately, that's the most important question, though. What does she have in her ear? There are three possibilities:
A hearing aid—loss of hearing or dulled hearing is not uncommon for people of Clinton's age, particularly for those who have suffered a traumatic head injury, like a concussion. Many different companies market hearing aids that are meant to be concealed. An inductive earpiece—stage actors often use these to help with cues and missed lines during performances. They are meant to be concealed, and with Bluetooth technology, those speaking to Clinton through it wouldn't even have to be in the same city. An anti-seizure device—sound can trigger certain forms of seizures. A German-engineered device called the Epitect fits inside the ear and can detect and warn of an impending seizure, but more closely resembles a more traditional hearing aid with a component that hangs behind the ear.

This makes me think of people who gossip. Why would anyone think that person will not do that to me. Hillary is a self admitted liar, cheat, and the if to America. Why would anyone think she would suddenly stop?

It is without a doubt a earpiece for communicating information and advice to rig the debate. It is much like a quarterback wearing a wireless coach-to-quarterback communications system inside their helmet. NFL offensive coordinators have literally had the ear of their quarterbacks since 1994. However, this should not be permitted in a presidential debate without the other debate participant having the same advantage. GOP Chair Reince Priebus as well as the Trump Team should be doing something about this foul on the debate field.
Photo is inaccurate. Her ears are on her head which isn’t on her shoulders.
It looks like smooth skin with the light reflecting from it. I wouldn’t expect to be able to see down her ear canal at this angle. I don’t think this dog will hunt. The hand signals and the cleanup guy offer much better prospects.
Depressing but true. A lot of her supporters would see her a smart and clever. What also worries me is that this same segment of our population would cheer an Obamacare refusal to hand over his office to a victorious Trump.
I’m all for catching Hillary cheating, but if you look closely, that looks like Gorilla hair on her ear.
Even a "dive klaxon" zap should be enough to totally throw her off-cue...
He could even have them do it on (raised finger?) signal -- so that the video correlation between his cue and her discombobulation would be 100% proof that he had caught her cheating...

Watched this video earlier. They took several things away. Cameras were on the stage all day. There should be videos of someone putting these things in there. Would be interesting to see. Where are they?

Trump would not need or use an earpiece. So I would not make the fairness argument. The better argument is why Hillary is so weak that she uses an earpiece and then doesn't disclose it (IF she is using an earpiece). It could also be a hearing aid.
