That's what I think. If it looks like Trump will win, he gives up the goods to Trump. If he thinks Hillary will win, he has a deal with her.

Well, Obama and Hillary have up until Nov 7 to offer Assange a deal. If Hillary wins,
Assange has no more leverage. If Trump wins he also has no leverage....So Obama and Hillary have to calculate the risk of letting him run loose with leaks....or try to shut him up now by offering a deal.
